SD Focus - 10/30/2003

Tourism - Many of South Dakota’s rural communities have realized that agriculture is no longer the leading economic drive for its citizens. Tourism seems to be on the rise and many towns across the state are hoping they too can attract tourists to keep their towns afloat. Focus will take a closer look at some of these communities like Lead, Howard, Wessington Springs and Mitchell. Is Tourism the answer and what does increased tourism mean for South Dakota?
