"Wayne Porter is a sculptor from the town of St. Lawrence. He grew up watching his father work as a blacksmith and was immediately drawn to the craft. His first piece of art was a bul?s head pendant he made as a boy, and in his own words, ""The bull’s heads just keep getting bigger. ""His most well known sculpture is a 60-ft. Egyptian bull’s head located on the eastbound side of Interstate 90 just before the Montrose exit. Wayne and his family run a sculpture garden that is located behind the giant sculpture."
