Take a closer look at the Ellsworth Air force Base Museum. See the Stratosphere Balloon Launch from 1934 and 1935 and the aviation hall of fame including Clyde Ice. The museum is also host to the South Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame. Outside, see the General Eisenhower transport aircraft the B-25 Mitchell that was specially built for him and was used near the end of W.W.II. Go inside a Minuteman II missile silo. Plus on display a realistic representation of a launch control center. Learn the relationship between the base and the museum. On the last stop, go inside the front of a B-1 Bomber.
