"For centuries, wild horses and burros have been a part of the landscape in the Western United States. As their numbers increase, the Bureau of Land Management gathers and adopts some of the horses and burros to people who can give them a good home. The BLM holds an annual auction every year in South Dakota, and we'll meet some of the people behind the scenes, some potentials adopters, and learn about the adoption program.
