Agnes Allen: Professional Ballplayer

Dakota Life - 06/03/2010

In 1943 the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League was formed as a replacement for the men's league when most of those players went off to fight in World War II.  By 1954 the league had dissolved. This short eleven year period is a slice of time that a select few were able to be a part of.  One of those select few is Sioux Falls resident Agnes Allen.  SDPB's Kevin Patten visited Agnes and got her extraordinary story.
