South Dakota Focus: Missouri River Flooding

On a special May 26th South Dakota Focus we talk about flooding prepardeness due to the Missouri River.  Host Stephanie Rissler interviews Governor Dennis Daugaard along with other government officials live from the Emergency Operations Center in Pierre. Included in that interview are:  

A Director Kristi Turman with the State Office of Emergency Management and Public Safety. Laurie Gill the Mayor of Pierre SD and Mayor Sam Tidball the mayor of Ft. Pierre SD. On the Vermillion set is Layne Stewart the Clay County Emergency Management Director and David Becker with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers from the Gavins Point Project.  Joining by phone is Doug Hofer with the SD Game Fish and Parks,

Mike Gillispie the Senior Service Hydrologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls and Doug Nelson the Mayor of Chamberlain SD. The program is one hour long.
